Structure Design Package (SDP)

SDP is an application developed with the purpose of innovating and improvising the design process, leading to reduction in costs and increased efficiency.

Some of the unique key advantages of this application are as follows:

• SDP reads input from Excel and gives output in Excel only, referred as Automatic Excel Interaction (AEI), which reduces the human effort of copying the input/result data to/from programs to design sheets.

• Due to Automatic Excel Interaction (AEI) feature, Calculations can be automated and design time can be reduced considerably.

• Almost every input is entered in the input file, so, it gives an extra control over program calculations.

  • A Snapshot option has been incorporated, which takes a snapshot of the graphical view and pastes it into the excel output file directly, thereby assisting the user to prepare design notes.

  • Any aware engineer can very well appreciate the usefulness of Command line type software. This program utilizes the power of commands without any requirement of typical input codes.

  • With a little bit of programming in Excel, one can use this program to design numerous structures without regular inputs by user.
